A home should work for everyone living in it — not just the people who moved in first.
We started Tillit because of our own experiences — and because we recognized our families, and eventually our whole community, were facing the same decision. Uproot everyone to find a bigger house, or live with a home that no longer fits. Neither answer solves what people are actually trying to solve. So we built the alternative.
Trust earned through transparency
Tillit means transparency in Norwegian — we didn't pick the name for flavor, we hold ourselves to it. Your design team stays with you through construction, so there's no handoff and no re-explaining your project to someone new halfway through. You get a real budget up front, and when changes come up, we handle them openly instead of letting the number quietly grow.
Less noise, more signal
Remodels fail families through a thousand small decisions and notifications with no way to tell which ones matter. We cut that down to what actually needs your attention, when it actually needs it — not a constant stream you have to manage on top of your life.
We build for the community we come from
We're not solving a generic remodel problem. We're solving the one we've watched happen in our own kitchens and our own families — aging parents moving closer, adult kids landing back home, three generations figuring out how to share a roof with dignity intact. This is who we build for, because it's who we are.
